Did you know that July is Disability Pride Month? As a disabled creator, it’s a time that means a lot to me.
For so long, stories with disabled characters have been either nonexistent or tragic tropes. But disability isn’t some plot device—it’s a human lived experience. It is an identity worthy of joy, complexity, nuance, and main-character energy.
